The house is being offered at $65,000 because it needs some work and could be worth double that once it's rehabbed. We had two sales that went for $120,000 right in the neighborhood. Lot is .53 acres, I've had chickens, pigs, mini horses and goats here. House is almost 1500 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, family room with fireplace, living room, dining room, vaulted ceilings, lots of porches enclosed and a carport. I am leaving all materials collected to update the house like interior doors, flooring, light fixtures, ceiling fans, even countertops and sinks. I just rebuilt the front deck and ramp (yes it's handicap accessible). Permaculture practiced here! Lots of fruit trees and other edibles. House needs new carpeting mostly but is sound.Comes with most appliances including a Bosch dishwasher, working furnace. I am a retired real estate agent so when I bought this house I found one with no structural damage and just cosmetic problems but I am now terminally ill and have to give up my homestead dreams. No HOA here, most the neighbors are great. House is totally livable, comes with a solar clothes dryer. I was gonna take inside pics and the camera disappeared. I'd really love to see a permaculture minded person buy this and carry on what I started. Worst problem here? One of the rain gutters fell down and a porch roof is failing, needs to come down. I'm almost done packing and cleaning so if you can overlook the boxes and clutter please come see this house. I'm in N Lakeland near Kathleen.
