I love this place. And by love, I mean LOVE this place. It's magical. The building's entry landscaping, the association's backyard landscaping, & most importantly, the home itself. Stepping inside, you will feel completely at home and know you are able to spread out with oversized furniture in Every. Single. Room. Seriously. A formal front foyer welcomes you or your guests in to this space, and from there, it just keeps getting better. The living room is 18' wide and is highlighted by a beautiful decorative fireplace. The sunroom off the front is large enough to use as a dining room & able to easily hold a large table. (You have a huge formal dining room but you might want to use that as a family room instead.) The art gallery hallway leads you through the home to that formal dining room that is nearly 19' wide. The current owners completely gut rehabbed the kitchen and pulled back the walls to open it to the dining room area, creating a perfectly versatile formal dining room or family room space. And then there is the kitchen. Not sure where to begin, but I would start with the double-height white cabinetry that is beautifully crafted with furniture wood handles. Or there is that butcher block counter that forms a perfect contrast against the classic white backsplash tile. The opposite wall has a perfect design aesthetic with outline cabinetry and open shelving. You will have so much storage room in here you won't know what to fill all the cabinets with, plus you have a pantry closet as well. And that hexagonal floor tile. Man is that cool. For bedrooms, you have 3 very large rooms. The primary bedroom holds a king-sized bed, end tables, & at least 2 dressers. The primary bath has been so well redone with wall tiles all the way around the room, two separate sinks, and a stunning shower. The middle bedroom could also easily hold a king-sized bed, while the third bedroom currently has a queen bed, end tables, plus home office desk! The 2nd bathroom, like the other bathroom has also been gut rehabbed to include the best of finishes. And then there is an incredible gem off the back. Go out your kitchen door to a completely private and fully screened in newer back deck with outdoor fans and heat lamp. Trust me when I say this is one of the most beautiful back decks I have seen. It looks over the backyard which is a landscaped city oasis. You will want to hang out in this outdoor area all the time. I can't say enough about this home. Truly one of my favorites that I can't shut up about. There is plenty of additional storage in the basement, along with individually owned washer and dryer there as well. The association has 4 individual stall garage spaces for the 6 units, decided by seniority first. There is also rental parking right next door too. You have to see this home on one of the beautiful tree-lined streets in Rogers Park. There is nothing like this anyway else. Any you are within 3 blocks to the Metra, 4.5 blocks to the Morse Red Line el stop & restaurants on Morse, & about 6.5 blocks to the lakefront. Buy this before I do!
