The beautiful driveway, the spacious rooms, the fenced backyard, and tile throughout all appealed to us but there was something else—the way the house affects the pace of life. There’s a sweetness to this home. A calm. We could sense that it was used as a gentle haven before and that’s what it became to us. We picked fruit from the mango and avocado trees and shared with people we loved. We spent cool evenings in the soft grass and bright mornings making memories in a kitchen that was perfect for baking. We watched movies in the cozy living room after sunset.
