Edgewood Valley Country Club sits on gently rolling terrain in western La Grange, Illinois, where mature oaks and maples frame the fairways. The course’s bent-grass greens are maintained at tournament speeds, and the layout mixes tight, tree-lined corridors with several long par fours that dogleg around ponds. A creek crosses the lower section of the property, creating forced carries on three mid-length holes. The practice area includes a two-tier driving range and a short-game complex with bunkers that replicate those found on the course. The clubhouse, built in the 1960s and renovated in 2004, houses a grill room overlooking the eighteenth green and a banquet space used for regional golf association events. Membership is drawn mainly from nearby suburbs, and the club regularly hosts high-school sectional tournaments as well as qualifying rounds for the Illinois PGA.
