Fort Lauderdale Country Club occupies 160 acres of landscaped grounds in the Rio Vista neighborhood. The club’s 18-hole layout, originally routed by Donald Ross in 1926 and later reworked by Joe Lee, runs along the New River and the Intracoastal Waterway. Mature banyan trees, palms, and live oaks line the fairways, while numerous water hazards and strategically placed bunkers shape play. The clubhouse, a two-story Mediterranean Revival structure built in 1927, contains dining rooms, a pro shop, locker facilities, and a second-floor veranda overlooking the eighteenth green. Practice amenities include a 10-acre range with target greens and a short-game area featuring multiple bunkers and a chipping green. Additional facilities comprise a fitness center, a 25-meter lap pool, and six lighted Har-Tru tennis courts. The club hosts the annual Fort Lauderdale Amateur and maintains active junior and women’s golf programs.
Fort Lauderdale Country Club currently has (within 1 mile) 2 single family homes for sale with an average list price of $697,495.
