Francis Lake Golf Course occupies flat coastal-plain terrain in Lake Park, Georgia. Fairways are bermudagrass, bordered by stands of longleaf pine and scattered water oaks. Multiple holes play along or across the namesake lake, where riprap edges and occasional bulkheads define the waterline. Greens are TifEagle bermuda, rebuilt in 2013 with subsurface drainage and subtle contouring that rewards approach shots kept below the hole. The layout alternates between straightaway holes and gentle doglegs, the latter shaped by pine copses and waste bunkers filled with local sand. Irrigation is supplied by on-site wells and a pumphouse visible behind the tenth tee. Cart paths are asphalt, kept in good repair, and cross several small wooden bridges over intermittent drainage ditches. The course is owned by the City of Lake Park and remains open to the public year-round, weather permitting.
