Harry Mussatto Golf Course occupies rolling terrain just south of Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. The layout incorporates former pastureland and a wooded creek corridor that runs through several fairways. Bermudagrass covers the tees and fairways, while bentgrass surfaces the greens. A driving range with both natural turf and artificial-mat hitting areas sits adjacent to the clubhouse. Cart paths are paved and connect the parking lot to the first tee and the practice green. The clubhouse itself is a single-story brick structure that houses a pro shop, snack bar, and restrooms. Irrigation is supplied by an on-site pond that also serves as a water hazard on two holes. Maintenance equipment is stored in a metal-sided shed behind the clubhouse, and a small maintenance staff keeps the grounds mowed and the bunkers raked. The course is open to the public and accepts both cash and credit-card payments at the counter.
