Several fairways follow natural contours that slope toward water hazards or sand bunkers, while others rise steadily toward elevated greens. The design incorporates the local terrain rather than imposing artificial features, with some putting surfaces built on natural knolls and others set in low pockets surrounded by mounding. Native vegetation borders many holes, and the course maintains the existing drainage patterns that characterize the area’s sandy soils. The layout presents varying shot angles and wind exposure depending on direction of play and time of day.
