North Shore Country Club occupies a 200-acre site along the Milwaukee River in Thiensville, Wisconsin. The golf course was designed by George Fazio and opened in 1972. Its fairways are defined by mature hardwood stands and strategic water hazards that cross several holes, including a pond fronting the 18th green. The clubhouse, built in the same era, features a low-slung, mid-century modern profile with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the 18th green and a stone terrace used for outdoor dining. Inside, the main dining room and bar areas retain original oak paneling and brass fixtures. Additional facilities include a full-length driving range with both natural turf and artificial mats, a short-game practice area with multiple bunkers, and indoor locker rooms. The club hosts a regional qualifying event for the U.S. Amateur each summer and maintains an active schedule of member tournaments and junior clinics.
