Reems Creek Golf Club, Weaverville, NC, Real Estate
Reems Creek Golf Club occupies a rolling valley floor in Weaverville, North Carolina, where the creek that gives the course its name winds through several fairways and reappears as a hazard beside several greens. The front nine moves through open, gently pitched terrain, while the back nine climbs onto wooded slopes that offer views of surrounding ridges. Greens are bentgrass, maintained at moderate speed, and surrounded by modest bunkering rather than elaborate waste areas. Several doglegs follow the creek’s bends, forcing tee shots to favor one side of the fairway to open the proper angle for the second shot. Cart paths stay mostly on the perimeter, leaving the central playing corridors free of pavement. The clubhouse, a modest single-story building, sits between the ninth and eighteenth greens and provides a simple grill and pro-shop. Because the course sits at roughly 2,200 feet of elevation, summer afternoons remain several degrees cooler than nearby lower-lying courses.
