The Golf Club of Georgia occupies a rolling, wooded site in Alpharetta, north of Atlanta. Designed by Arthur Hills and opened in 1989, the course features bentgrass greens and Bermuda fairways bordered by tall pines and hardwoods that create distinct corridors and shifting wind patterns. Elevation changes reach nearly 100 feet, producing uphill and downhill lies on several holes. Water appears on nine holes, most notably along the 13th and 17th, where creeks and ponds force precise approach shots. The practice facility includes a driving range with target greens, short-game area, and putting green adjacent to the clubhouse. The clubhouse itself is a two-story brick structure with locker rooms, a pro shop, and a dining room that overlooks the 18th green. Membership is private, and the club hosts occasional USGA qualifiers and Georgia Section PGA events.
The Golf Club of Georgia currently has (within 1 mile) 30 single family homes for sale with an average list price of $1,655,418.33 and 5 townhouses for sale with an average list price of $599,827. For anyone looking for a brand new home, there are 6 new construction homes for sale. The average annual property tax for The Golf Club of Georgia is $7,677.68.
