The White Columns Country Club, Milton, GA, Real Estate
The White Columns Country Club sits in Alpharetta, Georgia, and presents a parkland layout that winds through stands of mature hardwoods and occasional open meadows. The course was designed by Tom Fazio and opened in the mid-1990s; its fairways are framed by natural drainage swales and strategic bunkering that reward accurate tee shots more than sheer length. Greens are built to USGA specifications with TifEagle bermudagrass and are kept at moderate speeds, favoring approach play that lands short of the putting surface and releases toward tucked pins. Water comes into play on several holes, most notably along the back nine where two ponds guard approach shots to par-four greens. Cart paths remain separate from play corridors, preserving turf integrity and allowing walkers. The practice facility includes a double-ended driving range, short-game area with varied bunker lies, and putting green that mirrors on-course contours. Club amenities center on a colonial-revival clubhouse with locker rooms, a pro shop, and dining areas that overlook the eighteenth green.
