The layout alternates between open, wind-exposed holes and tighter corridors bordered by native hardwoods. Irrigation is supplied by an on-site well and monitored by a Rain Bird central-control system. The practice facility features a short-game area with multiple target greens and a separate putting green adjacent to the clubhouse. Cart paths are concrete, and several holes offer views of the adjacent Uwharrie National Forest ridgeline.
