Water comes into play on nine holes, most noticeably at the par-3 fourth, where a pond guards the entire left side of the green, and again on the reachable par-4 fourteenth, where a creek crosses the fairway about 100 yards short of the putting surface. Several holes require tee shots to carry modest elevation changes, while the closing stretch plays along the edge of a wooded ravine that forces players to shape shots both left and right. The course maintains bentgrass greens and bluegrass rough, and its irrigation system draws from an on-site pond that also serves as a hazard on three holes.
