Romona Elementary School was recently named a Nation Blue Ribbon School for the second time. This widely recognized designation is awarded to exemplary high performing schools, the top 15% in English and Mathematics as measured by state assessments. Romona was also named a Blue Ribbon School in 2006 making it 1 of only 11 schools to achieve this honor twice.
