Carson Park, Elk Grove Village, IL

Carson Park spans 20 acres in Elk Grove Village and features two lighted baseball diamonds, two lighted soccer fields, four tennis courts, and a playground with updated equipment. A 1.2-mile paved loop trail runs around the perimeter, connecting to the larger 26-mile Salt Creek Trail system. The park also includes a picnic shelter with restrooms and a small fishing pond stocked with bluegill and channel catfish. Mature trees provide shade along the trail and around the perimeter, and the open central lawn is maintained for informal use. Carson Park is located 1.5 miles from the Elk Grove Village Public Library, 2 miles from the municipal aquatic center, and less than three miles from the Metra Milwaukee District West line station at Elk Grove Village. Street parking is available along Biesterfield Road, and the park is accessible by the Pace bus route 223.
