Gladstone Park occupies a central location in Glendale Heights, with direct access from Bloomingdale Road and Gladstone Drive. A 1.3-mile paved loop trail circles the park’s 42 acres, connecting playgrounds, a basketball court, two tennis courts, and two baseball diamonds. The trail also links to the regional Salt Creek Greenway Trail, allowing residents to reach the 6-mile DuPage County segment without crossing major roads. A 12-acre detention basin at the park’s north end supports seasonal waterfowl viewing and is bordered by a mowed path used for walking and jogging. Restrooms and drinking fountains are open from April through October, and the parking lot accommodates more than 80 vehicles. The park sits less than a mile from the Glendale Lakes Golf Club and within a five-minute drive of the Glendale Heights Public Library and the North Avenue retail corridor.
