Huntington Chase Park, Montgomery, IL

Huntington Chase Park provides residents with 22 acres of open space and direct access to the Fox River Trail, a 40-mile paved route connecting Montgomery to neighboring communities. The park features two playgrounds with age-appropriate equipment, a full-size basketball court, and six lighted tennis courts that remain available after dusk. A 1.8-mile walking loop circles the perimeter, passing through stands of mature oaks and along a retention pond stocked for catch-and-release fishing. Picnic shelters equipped with grills and electrical outlets can be reserved for private events, and restrooms are located at both ends of the trail segment. The park sits less than one mile from the Montgomery Public Library and the Orchard Road retail corridor, which includes grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants.
