Moore Park, Champaign, IL

Moore Park in Champaign occupies 24 acres between Kirby Avenue and Devonshire Drive. The park contains three lighted tennis courts, two lighted basketball courts, a lighted baseball diamond, two playgrounds, and a 0.6-mile paved loop trail that circles the grounds. A 3-acre retention pond supports seasonal fishing and is bordered by a small wetland area managed by the Park District. The park sits within a half-mile of the University of Illinois campus, the Champaign Public Library, and the Market Place Shopping Center via dedicated bike lanes on Kirby Avenue.
