Osage Park, Wauconda, IL

Osage Park spans 52 acres in Wauconda and features a 1.2-mile paved loop trail that connects to the Lake County Forest Preserve trail system. The park includes a playground with rubberized surfacing, two lighted baseball fields, four lighted tennis courts, and two basketball courts. A fishing pond with a dock and a picnic shelter with restrooms support family outings, while the dog park provides separate areas for small and large dogs. Open fields and mature trees frame the park’s western edge, and its location along Route 176 places it within a short drive of downtown Wauconda’s shops and restaurants, as well as the Wauconda Area Library and the Metra station in nearby Barrington.
