Pheasant Trails Park covers 42 acres of gently rolling terrain in Flossmoor, bordered by Flossmoor Road and the Canadian National Railway tracks. A 1.3-mile paved loop trail circles the park, connecting to the Old Plank Road Trail and allowing residents to walk, run, or bicycle without leaving the village. The park includes two lighted tennis courts, a baseball diamond with bleachers, and four pickleball courts added in 2022. Open lawns and scattered oak and hickory trees provide space for informal play or picnics, while a small pond attracts waterfowl visible from the trail. Restrooms and a 40-space parking lot sit near the main entrance off Flossmoor Road, and the park lies within a half-mile of the Flossmoor Metra station, the public library, and the village’s downtown shops and restaurants.
