A charming 2-bedroom house with lots of extras. Located in the downtown area, this house is close to all the great activities New Port Richey has to offer, plus shopping, libraries, medical offices, places to eat, meet your friends, get your hair done, and lots more. Florida in the 50's gave us so many houses with character and this is no exception. Set on a double lot, this house has been fairly well-maintained but many of its best features have been covered. The wood flooring is begging to come out from under the carpet. The parquet floor (according to county records) in the bonus room is well-hidden. The kitchen still has some of its old charm but like the rest of the house, needs a loving touch. It is no handyman special, but needs some attention. The house is attached to the barn/garage by a breezeway (which makes a great place to sit and enjoy the yard). The garage has a loft, a workbench, and tons of storage room. The yard is completely fenced with more fence separating the front half of the yard from the back, plus a dog run, missing a gate. Central hear & air work beautifully. Yes, the house needs a roof. It is not leaking but will not pass insurance inspections. The price has been adjusted accordingly.
