Big Oaks Golf Course occupies 180 acres of gently rolling terrain in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The layout features bentgrass fairways bordered by mature oak stands that give the property its name. Natural wetlands occupy low-lying areas, creating strategic water hazards on several holes, while sand bunkers of varying depth protect greens and landing zones. The course maintains a Kentucky bluegrass rough that can reach three inches during peak season. Drainage systems installed beneath the fairways allow play to resume quickly after rainfall. The practice facility includes a 300-yard driving range with both natural turf and artificial mats, plus a short-game area with multiple target greens. The clubhouse, constructed in 1998, contains a pro shop, grill, and locker rooms. Cart paths of concrete connect all tees and greens, and the course uses a GPS system on its fleet of rental carts to display distances and course information.
