Brook Valley Country Club occupies a rolling tract of land just east of Greenville where the coastal plain meets the Piedmont. The course was designed by Ellis Maples in 1967 and has been maintained since as a classic parkland layout with bermudagrass fairways and bentgrass greens. Fairways are lined by mature hardwoods and loblolly pines that frame the holes and direct play; several fairways are pinched by doglegs or water hazards that require careful tee-shot placement. The signature par-3 seventh plays across a pond to an elevated green guarded by bunkers on both sides, while the closing stretch returns to the clubhouse along a creek corridor lined with native hardwoods. Irrigation and drainage systems are fed from an on-site reservoir, ensuring consistent turf conditions year-round. The property also includes a driving range, practice putting green, and a modest clubhouse built in 1974 that houses the pro shop and grill.
