Forsyth Golf Club sits on gently rolling terrain in Forsyth, Georgia, with Bermuda grass fairways and bentgrass greens. The course was built in the mid-twentieth century and has undergone several green and bunker renovations in the last decade. Water hazards appear on nine holes, most notably on the par-four seventh and the par-three fourteenth, where a pond guards the front-left portion of the putting surface. The layout alternates between open, tree-lined holes and tighter corridors where pines and hardwoods frame the landing areas. Several tee boxes offer different angles into the same green complexes, creating strategic variety from round to round. The practice facility includes a driving range with both natural turf and mats, plus a short-game area with sand and putting greens. The clubhouse, constructed of brick and wood, contains a grill, locker rooms, and a small pro shop. The course is owned and operated by the city and remains open year-round, closing only for occasional aerification or inclement weather.
