Several holes climb and descend short but steep grades that were once wagon roads, while others stay low beside the water. The original nine-hole layout, built in the 1960s, was expanded later; both segments share the same bentgrass greens and common bermudagrass fairways. Bunkers are modest in size and mostly positioned to catch approaches that drift toward the creek. The practice facility sits on a level bench near the first tee, and the modest clubhouse, constructed of local stone and cedar, overlooks the ninth green and the river beyond.
