Bent Pine Golf Club sits on a flat coastal plain in Vero Beach, Florida. The course was designed by Joe Lee and opened in 1973. Its layout threads through stands of slash pine and scattered live oaks, with several fairways bordered by drainage canals that connect to the Indian River Lagoon. Bermuda grass covers the fairways and tees, while the greens are planted with Tifdwarf. A single creek crosses four holes on the back nine, creating lateral water hazards that require accurate approach shots. The routing alternates between open stretches and tighter corridors where pines encroach on both sides. Irrigation is supplied by on-site wells drawing from the surficial aquifer. Maintenance records show that the greens are verticut and top-dressed weekly during the winter season. The property boundary is marked by a chain-link fence on the north and east sides, separating the course from adjacent residential subdivisions.
