Forest Creek Golf Club occupies 1,200 acres of longleaf pine woodland in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The Tom Fazio-designed layout opened in 1996 and stretches across gently rolling terrain that retains much of its original pine and hardwood cover. Fairways are lined with native wiregrass and scattered dogwoods, while several holes follow the contours of natural wetlands and small streams that feed into the property’s namesake creek. The course uses minimal irrigation and chemical inputs, reflecting an emphasis on environmental stewardship that has earned it designation as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Practice facilities include a 2-acre driving range with target greens, a short-game area featuring multiple bunker styles, and a putting course with bentgrass surfaces matching the main greens. The clubhouse, constructed with local fieldstone and timber framing, contains locker rooms, a pro shop, and dining areas overlooking the 18th green. Membership is by invitation only.
