The resort centers on a 1927 Tudor Revival lodge built from local stone and timber, with a slate roof and multiple fireplaces. The Donald Ross-designed course threads through the pines on gently rolling sandhills terrain, featuring narrow fairways lined by native wiregrass and turkey oaks. A separate nine-hole course, the “Maniac,” was added later for practice and instruction. The property includes a driving range, putting greens, and a short-game area used by the U.S. Women’s Open teams that train there. Guest rooms are located in the main lodge and adjacent cottages, all finished with period woodwork and vintage furnishings. Meeting spaces occupy the original ballroom and library. The resort also maintains a swimming pool, tennis courts, and walking trails that connect directly to the adjacent Weymouth Woods nature preserve.
