Goshen Plantation Golf Course occupies rolling terrain southeast of Augusta on former farmland, where pine stands frame the fairways and natural drainage ditches cross several holes. The layout alternates between open stretches of Bermuda grass and tighter corridors lined with hardwoods. Water hazards appear mainly on the back nine, where two ponds sit adjacent to the landing areas and a creek winds behind two greens. Elevation changes are modest but noticeable on the closing holes, creating uphill approaches into prevailing winds. Bunkering is sparse on the front side and more aggressive around the final four greens, where sand faces are angled to repel shots missing the proper side. The course maintains a traditional routing that returns to the clubhouse after nine holes, with cart paths kept to one side of most fairways.
