Heritage Springs Country Club sits on the edge of New Port Richey, surrounded by wetlands and tall stands of cypress. The course winds through a mix of native pines and palms, with several fairways framed by water hazards that come into play on the back nine. Greens are TifEagle bermuda, kept firm and fast, while the tees are planted with Celebration bermuda. Cart paths stay on the left side of most holes, and drainage swales run along the right edges to channel Florida’s heavy summer rains. The layout features a mix of straightaway par fours and a handful of doglegs that bend around ponds or stands of live oak. Practice facilities include a driving range with both natural grass and mat tees, plus a short-game area with sand and chipping greens. The clubhouse, built in 1997, houses a pro shop, locker rooms, and a grill that opens onto a terrace overlooking the eighteenth green.
