River Oaks Golf Club occupies gently rolling terrain in Statesville, North Carolina, where bentgrass greens are set into low mounds that slope toward native hardwoods and intermittent streams. The layout alternates between open, wind-exposed fairways on higher ground and tighter corridors that thread through stands of oak and pine. Several greens are elevated above natural ravines, requiring precise approach shots, while others sit at grade with wide bail-out areas. The irrigation system draws from an on-site pond that also serves as a lateral hazard on holes eight and seventeen. Cart paths remain separate from the playing corridors except at bridge crossings, and the practice facility consists of a double-ended range plus a short-game area with multiple target greens. Maintenance records show consistent use of lightweight rollers and frequent top-dressing to maintain smooth, true putting surfaces throughout the season.
River Oaks Golf Club currently has (within 1 mile) 1 single family home for sale with a list price of $999,000 and 10 lots for sale with an average list price of $71,089.70.
