Sailfish Sands Golf Course sits on the western edge of Stuart, Florida, on land that was once part of the old Jensen Beach area. The course was built on a former sand quarry, so the terrain features gentle elevation changes and a network of man-made ponds that collect water from surrounding canals. The layout is routed through stands of Australian pine and cabbage palm, with several holes running along the North Fork of the St. Lucie River. Because the site is low-lying, drainage is controlled by an extensive system of pumps and retention lakes that feed into the river. The practice facility includes a driving range with grass tees and a short-game area that has two practice greens. A large clubhouse sits near the first tee and houses a pro shop and a restaurant that overlooks the 18th green. The course is owned and operated by Martin County and is open to the public year-round.
Sailfish Sands Golf Course currently has (within 1 mile) no homes for sale. The average annual property tax for Sailfish Sands Golf Course is $250.
