Cape Fear Country Club sits on the banks of the Cape Fear River in Wilmington, North Carolina, where its fairways wind through a landscape shaped by longleaf pines and live oaks. Designed by Donald Ross in 1923 and later updated by Ellis Maples, the course features undulating greens that slope toward the river on several holes and are guarded by deep bunkers filled with local sand.
