The club opened in 1985 and maintains two eighteen-hole courses designed by Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus. The Dye course weaves through salt marshes and live-oak hammocks, with several holes perched on bluffs overlooking the waterway. The Nicklaus course occupies higher ground, routing through pine flatwoods and former rice fields. Club amenities include a 32,000-square-foot clubhouse completed in 1998, a racquet center with ten outdoor courts, a fitness pavilion, and a private beach pavilion on Harbor Island. The property adjoins the 480-acre Landfall gated residential community, which is served by private roads maintained by the club. Membership is by invitation only and capped at 775 full golf members.
