Cedarwood Country Club sits on the southeastern edge of Charlotte, where the land rolls in gentle contours shaped by decades of golf course maintenance. The fairways run between stands of native hardwoods and pine, with several holes playing along small creeks that feed into a central pond. Bunkers are placed to catch long approaches on the uphill par fours and to guard the edges of the larger, undulating greens. The routing alternates between open stretches and tighter corridors where trees frame the landing areas, creating a range of shot shapes required from tee to green. The practice facility includes a full-length range and short-game area set apart from the main course. The clubhouse, built in the 1960s and updated in sections over the years, overlooks the eighteenth green and provides locker rooms, a grill, and event spaces used by members throughout the year.
