Myers Park Country Club, Charlotte, NC, Real Estate

Myers Park Country Club occupies a 225-acre tract in Charlotte’s historic Myers Park neighborhood. The course, designed in 1921 by Donald Ross and restored in the 1990s by Tom Fazio, threads through a mature hardwood canopy of oak, maple, and dogwood. Fairways are routed on gently rolling Piedmont terrain, with several holes playing downhill to creeks that feed into Little Sugar Creek. Ross’s original bunkering—now restored to its shallow, flashed-sand style—frames small, undulating greens that tilt predominantly from back to front. The second hole, a sharply dogleg-right par four, plays across a deep ravine, while the sixteenth requires a carry over a restored pond that originally served as an irrigation reservoir. Native rough of fescue and broomsedge separates holes, preserving the property’s early-twentieth-century parkland character.
