Providence Country Club sits on rolling terrain in Charlotte, North Carolina, with fairways that weave through stands of pine and hardwood. The course was designed by Arnold Palmer and opened in 1989. Its layout features several elevation changes, including a pronounced drop on the fifth hole that forces players to account for wind and distance control. Water hazards appear on nine holes, most notably a pond that guards the approach to the par-four seventeenth green. Bunkers are placed to penalize both pulled and pushed shots, and the greens are maintained at tournament speed. The property is bordered by residential streets, but mature trees provide a visual buffer between holes. Practice facilities include a driving range with target greens and a short-game area with multiple bunkers. The clubhouse, constructed of brick and stone, contains locker rooms, a pro shop, and dining rooms that overlook the eighteenth green.
Providence Country Club currently has (within 1 mile) 27 single family homes for sale with an average list price of $1,785,362.96 and 6 townhouses for sale with an average list price of $531,150. For anyone looking for a brand new home, there is 1 new construction home for sale.
