Naples Heritage Golf & Country Club occupies 170 acres of former citrus groves in eastern Naples. The course, designed by Arthur Hills and opened in 1990, threads through stands of live oak and cypress, with several fairways bordered by restored wetlands. Water hazards come into play on twelve holes, most notably a pair of ponds flanking the par-4 ninth and the lake that wraps around the finishing green. Greens are TifEagle bermuda, averaging 5,800 square feet, and are kept at one-eighth-inch during peak season. Irrigation is supplied by on-site wells and a computerized central system that adjusts daily for evapotranspiration rates. The practice facility includes a double-ended range, two short-game areas with bunkers, and a putting green that mirrors the speed and contour of the course greens. Membership is equity-based and includes access to a 22,000-square-foot clubhouse with a fitness center, library, and dining room overlooking the eighteenth green.
