Foxfire Country Club occupies a 400-acre site in east Naples, Florida, where three eighteen-hole layouts wind through cypress wetlands, pine flatwoods, and natural lakes. Designed by Von Hagge, Smelek & Stratton, the North, South, and West courses were built in the late 1970s and have been maintained with minimal tree removal to preserve the original canopy. Water hazards appear on 27 holes, while strategically placed bunkers guard most landing areas. The club’s irrigation system draws from on-site wells and reuses stormwater, meeting the South Florida Water Management District’s conservation standards. Practice facilities include a double-ended range, two short-game areas, and two putting greens. The clubhouse, finished in 1981 and renovated in 2014, houses a 150-seat dining room, a members’ lounge, and administrative offices. Membership is by invitation only; guests may play only when accompanied by a member.
