Capital City Country Club sits on a rolling 140-acre site in Tallahassee, Florida, bordered by Lake Jackson on its western edge. The club’s main clubhouse, a two-story brick structure built in 1956 and renovated in 2008, houses a formal dining room, a casual grill, and a ballroom that accommodates 250 guests. Adjacent to the clubhouse is a six-court tennis complex with lighted hard courts and a separate pro shop. The club also maintains a 25-meter outdoor pool with a shaded deck and a fitness center equipped with weight machines and cardio equipment. A short-game practice area featuring multiple target greens lies between the first and ninth fairways, while a separate driving range with 20 stalls sits on the property’s eastern boundary. Membership is limited to residents of Leon and surrounding counties. The club hosts an annual member-guest tournament each April and a weekly nine-hole “twilight” series on summer Thursdays.
