The Golf Club at Summerbrooke is located in northern Tallahassee on the site of a former farm. The course was designed by Gene Bates and opened in 1998. It features gently rolling terrain that follows the natural contours of the property, with several holes routed through stands of mature live oaks and pine trees. Water hazards appear on multiple holes, most notably on the back nine where a large pond borders several fairways. The greens are built to USGA specifications with TifEagle bermudagrass, and the fairways are planted with Celebration bermudagrass. The course includes a driving range with both grass and mat tees, a short-game practice area, and a clubhouse that houses a pro shop and restaurant. The property also contains wetlands and conservation areas that are not part of the playable course.
