Cypress Lake Country Club sits on approximately 150 acres in southwest Fort Myers. The course was designed by architects Mark McCumber and Gene Bates and opened in 1990. Its layout weaves through stands of native cypress and pine, with several holes playing alongside the 32-acre Cypress Lake. Water comes into play on 13 holes, primarily in the form of ponds and drainage canals that edge fairways or guard greens. The Bermuda-grass fairways are flanked by modest rough, while the TifEagle putting surfaces are maintained at tournament speeds. The practice area includes a double-ended driving range and a short-game complex with separate chipping and bunker zones. The clubhouse, built in a low-country style, houses a pro shop, grille room, and locker facilities. The club hosts LPGA Q-Series qualifying events and local amateur tournaments each season.
