North Ridge Country Club sits on a 200-acre property in northern Raleigh, with two 18-hole golf courses originally designed by Gene Hamm and later updated by Bob Moore. The Lakes Course features water hazards on 14 holes, including a signature par-3 that plays across a large pond. The Oaks Course winds through mature hardwood forests with more tree-lined fairways and smaller greens. Both courses share a practice facility that includes a 300-yard driving range with target greens and a short-game area with multiple bunkers. The clubhouse, built in 1967 and renovated in 2004, contains a 300-seat ballroom, a 75-seat grill room, and locker rooms for men and women. Additional facilities include eight outdoor tennis courts, an outdoor pool with a diving board, and a fitness center with weight and cardio equipment. The club hosts LPGA and PGA Tour qualifying events as well as local high-school golf matches.
