Pelican Preserve Golf Club sits on a 300-acre site in Fort Myers, Florida. The layout combines three nine-hole loops—Preserve, Sanctuary, and Legacy—that wind through native cypress strands and wetlands. Fairways are lined with cabbage palms and saw palmetto, and the course is routed to take advantage of existing topography rather than re-grade the land. Multiple water hazards, including ponds and sloughs, come into play on several holes, particularly along the Sanctuary and Legacy loops. The Preserve loop tends to play slightly more open, while Sanctuary and Legacy feature tighter corridors and more pronounced elevation changes around the greens. Bermuda grass covers the fairways and TifEagle covers the greens. The practice facility includes a driving range with both natural turf and mats, a short-game area with two practice greens, and a dedicated bunker. Cart paths are concrete and run along the perimeter of most holes, keeping players off the turf when carts are restricted. The clubhouse contains a pro shop, locker rooms, and a restaurant overlooking the 18th green of the Preserve loop.
